About this image

This grand design intermediate spiral galaxy was captured across two nights. On 1st April I collected as much Luminance data that time would allow during a New Moon. The next night I collected the RGB but ran into clouds during the Blue phase hence the lower frame count.

Red 41x 120”

Green 44 x 120”

Blue 19 x 120"

Luminance 244 x 60"

All images captured bin 1x1 and then software binned to 2x2 during processing.
