About this image

A 25min. exposure of this diffuse galaxy (dist c.820,000ly) yielded better results than my previous efforts at 80min. and 120min. I attribute this to much better transparency and possibly more effective tweaking of the image using the basic tools of Windows Photo Gallery.

Bortle 7/8. Moon waxing crescent 38%. Transparency good.

Brilliant Alan! A difficult one that 'pushes' the eVscope/eQuinox - especially with the bright Regulus nearby. You've inspired me to try this again...
