About this image

Trying out double stacking the SMII 60 and SM40 external etalons on the front of an 80mm f/7 achromat (reducing the scope to 40mm pushed it to F/15),took a bit of tuning and tilting of the filters then recorded nine SER files in Firecapture. Stacked in Autostakkert3,the nine images were then stitched together in Photoshop CS2,wavelet sharpening in Astrosurface and back into CS2 for finishing touches.
