About this image

As I had a prior commitment I could not be with fellow members Honor Wheeler & Jim Birchell to see the Moon rise from 21.59, so I had to wait almost 2 hours until the Moon was in a favourable position to be imaged, but due to the low altitude I had to use the gap between the frame and an open window on the first floor as the surrounding roof-line obscured my view at ground level.

So I attached my camera to my birding telescope acting as an 800mm prime lens & mounted same on a tripod, enabling me to capture this image
