About this image

This was a fairly fast-moving display of noctilucent cloud, with a lot of beautiful and intricate detail visible.  Here in Moray we didn't quite get the clear skies that were promised (by the BBC, Met Office etc.), with tropospheric cloud constantly bubbling up in front of the NLC.
