About this image

V1331 Cygni is a T-Tauri type variable star embedded in a dust cloud at the northeast end of Dark Cloud Lynd 981. We are looking almost directly at one of its poles. The jet emanating from the pole blows dust away and reveals the reflection nebula surrounding the star.
