About this image

Mars (South up) from last Thursday morning’s imaging session under reasonable seeing conditions. SPC continues to hang on and suspect there is a little North Polar Hood developing. M. Erythraeum and Aurorae Sinus are centered, with a couple extensions (Ganges) off of the sinus visible. Niliacus Lacus anchors the northern part of the planet at about 7-8 o’clock in the image.
