About this image

Nearing the end of Io's shadow transit. Io is visible on the meridian, just below the centre of the disc. The GRS is appearing around the limb near Ganymede.

Hi Chris, This is a fine image; it’s great that you are posting your Jupiter images to the BAA pages. I’m just contacting you and other observers to ask that, for future images, you would write all the info on the image itself (date, time UT, longitudes if possible from WinJUPOS, your name & approx location, and telescope and filters).
