Safe to say …. THAT’S a Perseid!

I've rotated the original image so that North is top, South is bottom, East is left, West is right, and, for the uncropped image, directly overhead is centre.

The very bright object in the bottom left (south-east) is the planet Jupiter and the bright object near the bottom, just above the treeline is the planet Saturn
