This was a challenging observation. The weather that night was variable with passing fog. At one point I had to wait for 20 minutes for the fog to clear. When it cleared around 1:30 am local time, is when I got my best view of the transit. I saw Iapetus transiting before then, but because of it's proximity to Saturn's limb the contrast improved a bit. Employing 418x is not the usual for my location, but was very lucky for the seeing to cooperate this night.
