About this image

Continuing my journey to learn some planetary astrophotography while I have the Meade LX10 on loan from the Hampstead Garden Suburbs Astronomical Society.  I'm finding that not using the barlow gives better detail with Jupiter.  Admittedly I have a fairly basic barlow so maybe this would not be true if I had a better one.  I'm also learning to use the wavelets in Registax after stacking in AutoStakkert.  If anyone can offer advice on whether I could maintain detail with a better quality barlow on this 2000mm focal length scope I'd appreciate it.  Anyway I'm happy with this if its the best I can expect from the scope.
