About this image

SN 2022qmx 17:35:44.3  +04:49:56.9

Although rather faint at g mag 19.5, at this distance (z=0.35 ~ 4 billion years light travel time) this type 1a supernova should have been ~3 magnitudes fainter and likely beyond the limiting magnitude of my imaging setup were it not gravitationally lensed.

Even so it was still a magnitude or two too faint for a spectrum so I had to be content with just an image.
