About this image

These two images of Jupiter taken over two successive eight minute de-rotations with a short time gap between them can be merged into an apparent 3D image of Jupiter by allowing your eyes to drift out of focus until the two images become one.  Curiously the detail also becomes clearer as well!

Very nice Peter. I had to make the images a bit smaller on my screen before I could see this but it is very neat when you do.

That does work very well Peter and that is an odd effect - seemingly the contrast is boosted in the combined image. What was the time gap between images?

Best wishes

Martin
