Large Sunspot Group AR 13112

The new impressive complex sunspot group AR 13112 rotated onto the solar disk a couple of days ago. It currently has an area of just over 1100 millionths of the Sun's visible hemisphere (MSH). Will it become the largest group this cycle so far? Being a complex group it may produce a few solar flares. The areas in the plot have been measured from Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) HMI images, generally every 12 hours.
