About this image

This irregular dwarf galaxy in Cetus is the Deep Sky Section's October 'Object of Interest'. Even with a 75minute exposure in relatively good conditions, the galaxy barely showed up. A little tweaking of the image yielded a few traces. But I am pleased to have seen IC1613 at all with a 112mm aperture.

Bortle 7/8, no Moon, seeing fair.
