Another superb set of images, Martin! Do you take on apprentices?….

How does the Uranus C compare with the ASI224?

More than happy to give any advice, Bill - think you have my email.

ASI224MC similar to Uranus C in terms of colour rendition, read noise and sensitivity but build quality of the UC better and chip is SO much larger. Really pleased with it. Obviously pixel size is a bit different 2.9um v 3.75um so it depends on you Barlow etc. - I'm using the Uranus C oversampling and it seems okay. Going to stick with it for the Mars apparition over the 224MC.

Still have to publish my comparison with the best processed signle video image from Uranus C, ASI224MC and ASI482MC.  Need to pull my finger out!

Best wishes,

Martin
