About this image

Andromeda fits the FOV of my William Optics GT81 perfectly, producing something of an 'up-close-and-personal' view of our neighbouring galaxy. However, for a change, this year I captured 6 ½ hours of M31 with my Samyang 135 + ASI1600MM-Cool set-up. I really like the alternative perspective of this widefield format, which in some ways seems to provide a more satisfying image of this wonderful object.
