About this image

Even though the bright Moon was riding high and the strong wind was gusting to 40+ mph, this was an opportunity to record the comet in the early evening, currently nicely located near Polaris.

Bands of cloud raced across the sky then when it cleared I got a number of 4 s FITS images. The wind was blowing loose papers around in my observatory and rattling the door, but DeepSkyStacker did a good job to produce this composite from 20 exposures. This field is about 17' across in RA.
