About this image

Using Firecapture capture sequencer I recorded thirty two 300 frame SER files with a 30 second delay between each recording of this large prominence on the north limb of the Sun starting with the first recording at 14:09 UT and ending at 14:32 UT. Stacked in Registax and mild processing in Astrosurface and animated in GIMP.
