About this image

While waiting for something to rise I decided to have a quick bash at a random comet approaching the meridian. I spotted it was faint (18.3) but thought it might be fun. Its a main belt asteroid that has a sideline as a comet - albeit a faint one. 

I must admit that I was surprised to spot after 20 or so frames that it had a tail, but I understand its quite near perihelion. Not much of a condensation in the head though.

Pixels are 1.58 arc secs across.
