A fine sight - with the observatory below. Wish i'd had the DSLR on hand ! But the iphone somehow works it's magic.

Seperated visually by a mere 39arcminutes!. Although in reality they are 4.4AU apart.

Venus is at 17° 42' Alt and Mag - 4. Visual Diameter 12.3" at visible disk edges 1.36AU

Jupiter is at 17° 58' and Mag -2.1 Visual Diameter 34.1"5.77AU
