In my previous post, at the start of the opposition season, I was hoping for better conditions during 2023 than those that eventuated. We ended up with generally poor seeing and lots of high cloud that reduced transparency, all combining with the low altitude of Mars in SE Australia. So my compilation for this year is below the quality of my previous oppositions. I present it here for completeness -these are the better images from a lot of frustrating sessions!
