About this image

This small, faint spiral galaxy in Leo Minor was discovered by William Herschel in March 1787.

This COAST image reveals a small, faint nucleus and diffuse spiral arms, a much better image than my previous attempt with the Unistellar.

Distance c.98million ly. Diameter c.120,000ly. Apparent mag. 11.8.
