About this image

The Cosmic Halo in Leo is the Deep Sky Section's March 'Object of Interest'. With an exposure limited to 3min, the galaxy LRG 3-757 is barely visible and the surrounding halo not at all in this COAST image. Perhaps not surprising given the brief exposure and the extreme distance of the object - 10.3 billion ly.
