About this image

I have been working on this one over the past few years – in 2021 and this year - there is just over 20hrs data (7hrs in 2021 and 13hrs in 2023). All captured over 10 nights.

My previous attempt on this target didn’t have as much Red as I would have liked. So, this image is the first time I have been able to combine Ha to the RGB data. It’s good to look back and nice to see some improvements as the years go by – still loads to learn though.

L-Pro filter (12hrs of data) & L-eXtreme filter (just over 8hrs).

Next time though, I want to get more Blue into the galaxy – more to learn.

Processing software:

Stacking in DSS then PixInsight.

Clear skies all.
