About this image

This compares a 51.7% illuminated Mercury with 70.6% illuminated just five days previously.   In both instances I have been able to obtain a match for some surface features as shown by WinJUPOS, particularly the bright crater Kuiper, seen clearly on 3rd April and now almost a limb feature on 8th April.
