About this image

One of the fun things about imaging comets is that you never know what else will turn up in the field. When this image appeared I noticed the star to the right of the comet with a faint ring around it. My first thought was that it was a strange internal reflection from the filter but I did a quick search and it turns out to be the peculiar ring galaxy called Hoag's Object.
