About this image

Data captured between 26 April and 10 May 2023.

The reason for the delay in posting is that this is my third version of the processing with Pixinsight and Affinity Photo. The key to extracting more from the fainter parts of the image was discovering the tone mapping persona of Affinity Photo (thanks to a webinar by Nik Szymanek on Telescope Live).

The blue glow at the right hand edge is caused by a bright star just outside the field of view.
