About this image

After a shot of the sunsposts with my Herschel wedge and the ASI178MM I tried an experiment with usig a Coronado double stack fiilter with my Quark Chromosphere. I knew this would be a little tricky and sure enough it was. It was very hard to tune the images and adding the double stack also picked up some dust motes on the Quark and the diagonal that were largely undetected in the images without it. The Quark on its own gives a nice smooth inverted image but the extra contrast and detection of more features of the double stack addition is also apparent. Work in progress!
