About this image

This is another first timer. Just about visible as a light haze in my 250mm SCT visually.

When imaging it took a lot of colour stretching to find any colour hints in the haze. This is a reflection nebular, with the light from the B type blue supergiant star nicely illuminating clouds of gas which appear to stretch further away than is visible in this image if you really stretch the histogramme. There are also dark elements, running upper right to lower left. Presumably dust causing local extinction.
