About this image

This was my first opportunity to attempt the night side of Venus this elongation - I had just an 11 minute window when Venus had cleared local buildings before sunrise. The left hand video image is a stack of all 1,294 frames. Seeing wasn't that hot and the night side has only one possible feature that might be surface related. 25 minutes later with the same equipment I was able to target a reasonable image of just the day side, this time only 15% of 7,000 frames used.
