Hi Simon,
Regarding the narrow band filter used at F2.8.  Are these the "band-shifted" variety?
I was informed recently that narrow band filters only work down to F/3.  Im skeptical of that claim and F/2.8 should work?   Do you know?

Hi Tim,

Great question. The Ha and Sii are 6nm and not band shifted and seem to work pretty well. But I was frustrated with how little Oiii signal I got with my 6nm filter so switched to a band shifted one with significant improvement. Its not as obvious as "only work down to F3" but there is a difference
