About this image

This bright meteor was recorded on my Leeds_SE camera. A visual observer might have reported it as a nice Orionid, but UFOA classifies it as a LMI (Leonis Minorid) with apparent mag -3.1.

As well as the Orionids, there's also activity this month from the southern and northern Taurids, epsilon Geminids and the Leonis Minorids, etc.
