About this image

As I was observing the STEVE phenomenon during the strong auroral display on 5 November 2023, I noticed that it was brightening considerably. It was arcing from north west to south east and was clearly visible overhead. It also passed through the Summer Triangle asterism so I just had to get a shot of this rare event and alignment.
