About this image

A nice conjunction on a cold night with a breeze biting the fingers. As well as a naked-eye event and an easy target for a simple camera setup, the conjunction was also observed in 10x50 binoculars.

My 'phone was busy all evening, interacting with my contacts who enjoyed seeing the alignment, with the non-astronomers taking a keen interest in exploring more of the night sky with their family binoculars.
