M45 - a bonus 12P caused!

About this image

This image was a direct result of trying to image 12P Pons-Brooks with my 130 mm triplet APO using my second pier outside my observatory in my back garden.  The angle for it to 12P Pons-Brooks is very low and I only had a brief time before a neighbour's roof obstructed but it seemed a shame to waste a clear sky so I pointed it at M45 taking multiple short unguided exposures - horrendous total file size but an interesting challenge to stack!
