About this image

First really transparent evening in Chelmsford for ages and it had to coincide with Full Moon! The comet is now low in the west and I can only image it through tree branches from my main telescope so this is from a setup at the other end of the garden using a WO Megrez 90 on an NEQ6 with an ASI1600MM camera. The comet's motion is now 2.9 arcsec/min and this is a stack of 30s exposures offset at that rate. There is a lot of detail in the ion tail.
