Hello all,
Attached is an image of 12p taken last night 20240331_01 from Tarbatness MPC Code I81. Details are annotated on the image. This may well be my last image of this comet as it is now close to my western horizon as it closes in on perihelion. The weather forecast gives cloud for the next few days by which time the comet will be too low for me to image. It has been fascinating to follow this comet from recovery to close to perihelion, with the outbursts adding to the development of the comet.I hope it will be seen during the TSE next week and that observers in the Southern hemisphere will be able to extend the light curve already built.
