I was away in Greenock, attending the BAA meeting, but my video meteor cameras recorded the aurora in their 10s clips. This is a single image from my SW-facing UK0090 and a timelapse video is available here:

The aurora appeared in distinctive bursts:

21:45 - 23:20 very active display

00:15 - 01:15 a more subdued display

01:50 - 03:00 display building again before dawn
