About this image

This bright emission and reflection nebula (the bright star top centre is lighting up the central part of the nebula) is aproximately twice as far away as the North America nebula complex and appears much smaller from our perspective.  This is the full field of view of my camera through my 14inch SCT at f/10. Both regions lie not far from and opposite sides of Deneb in Cygnus.
