In the June 2024 BAA Journal there was an image of Barnard’s star taken in 2021. (Page 228). I took an image of the star on 20th June 2024 and compared it with an image I took in 2019 using the same equipment and exposure as the 2024 image The movement of Barnard’s Star in that 5 year period is clear if you look closely. The star is somewhere between these two images in the 2021 image in the BAAJ.This is the annotated 2019 image. The next image compares the 2019 and 2024 positions.
