About this image

I caught this nice Perseid meteor on the evening of 10 August 2024 at 23:39 UT. It is passing through Cygnus, Vulpecula, Sagitta and into Aquila. The clouds parted at just the right time for my camera to get the shot! I was on the North York Moors to observe the Perseids under dark skies. There were some clouds around in the late evening but these dispersed by about 1am. I saw a lot more meteors visually after that.
