Jupiter-Mars Conjunction

About this image

Tonight marked the closest approach of Jupiter and Mars, with the two planets separated by just 22 arc minutes. Had to wait til 4am to get a good shot. Initially tried the telescope, the image wasn't as impressive as I hoped, so I switched to my Nikon with a Tamron lens set at 200mm focus.
