About this image

I am studying the dynamics of various local group members at present, which includes a look at M33 and the ionised hydrogen and HII regions.
These do not show well on many galaxies, (at least not with amateur kit) but the high amount of this gas and activity in the spiral arms of M33 does image well. The associated star formation also evident in broad spectrum visual images of course.

I have been using a single shot camera and have assigned the colour data all to the Red channel - hence the red colouration.
