About this image
Blazar S5 0014+81 tonight in Cepheus. These are 12 billion year old photons, it's magnitude 16.5. 133 minute exposure, Bortle 5 sky, straight off Seestar S50, no additional processing. Confession time, I set Seestar up in garden (5 minutes) then went to pub and downloaded the image when I returned home. Forgive me. This is the stacked FITS file from Seestar displayed in AstroImageJ.
