Title

Jupiter, new spot and Europa's shadow

About this image

Well this is exciting stuff!    I had no idea about a discovery of a new spot in the NEB half an hour before this image and was happily catching the tail end of Europa's shadow.  I nearly didn't bother as by the time I had finished on Venus there wasn't much of the shadow transit left.  But now alerted by Geoff Lewis's post from his image of the new spot a little after mine I may be able to claim to be the first imager in the UK to have captured the event!
