About this image

Attempt at simple spectroscopy using Seestar. Not surprisingly plate solving and stacking cannot cope with spectra. Submitted images are invariably rejected and cannot be saved by Seestar app. Hence recourse was made to a screen dump! Admittedly the shown spectra are of low resolution but at least the special nature of the planetary nebula can be seen.

"Not surprisingly plate solving and stacking cannot cope with spectra"

You could perhaps try the trick of  making a hole in the capped off area surrounding the prim to let some of the starlight through to form star images. I know Star Analyser images can be plate solved and stacked using the zero orders (though perhaps not automatically by the SeeStar)

Cheers
