Title

Venus nightside 24th February (and compared to 22nd image)

About this image

Another round of attempting the elusive night side of Venus, this time in scudding clouds, and generally hazy skies that became more hazy the lower Venus went.  As on 22nd we had to wait for Venus to clear the garden pine tree before starting although this time it cleared the tree about seven minutes earlier and was nearly 15 degrees altitude at the start.   Despite the worse conditions the resultant image clearly shows the same features and the thinner day cresent of Venus is far less dominant than it was two nights earleir.
