Venus Thermal Emission February 21th 2025

My first attempt of Venus NS ( Night Side) for this elongation.

After several weeks of variable conditions, the last afternoon i had reasonable seeing and transparency conditions during the session.

My setup:

C14 Edge HD,Fornax52 mount, Player One Uranus-C, Optec focal reducer 0.62x, Pixelteq 1010 FWHM 308nm with IR850nm.

Acquired 10x5 minutes @100ms, gain 330, stacked best 90%.

Processing with Iris using WL of medium radius.

Phoebe Regio and Beta Regio seems to match pretty well.

In the map for comparison, the High areas are coloured Yellow, Lowlands in blue and the mid elevations in green.
