About this image

The DSS object for March: i note that i had imaged this in 2009 with 30cm F/4 and Meade DSI-pro on March 6th, 16 years ago!
After 7 days of clear skies the moon and cloud were about to take over so i made an effort to get this target.

The L image was no-filter for 35min, guiding was OK.  These were supplemented with 10R+10G+10B.  The images were calibrated with flats through each filter  (20 x 50ms with a flat panel ) and dark subtracted.  I bit of a faff, but its turned out OK i think.

I used DSS, AstoArt and then PaintShop Pro.
